Panagiotis Alafouzos - June 2023

Panagiotis Alafouzos

Panagiotis works as an Initiative Manager in the Group Risk Technology of UBS in Zurich and has 15 years of experience in project management, program management, and product strategy. He has a proven track record of leading and implementing high-impact projects with cross-functional agile teams in various locations such as Zurich, London, Athens, India, and New York. His project management expertise spans across different industries, including credit risk technology for the banking sector, mobile marketing and advertising technology solutions for agencies and brands, and the delivery of SaaS platforms for lotteries and sports betting operators.

Panagiotis is a certified Project Manager (PMP) and has been certified in Agile methodologies, including Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), and Professional Agile Leadership (PAL I). He holds a Mathematics degree from the University of Crete, a Master of Science in Analysis, Design, and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics (LSE), and an M.B.A from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).

In his spare time, Panagiotis enjoys snowboarding, biking, reading books, hanging out with friends and running marathons. Panagiotis joined the PMI Switzerland chapter to further engage with the community of project managers, exchange ideas and further explore networking opportunities.

Kévin Jelsch - June 2023

Kévin Jelsch

Kévin holds a master's degree in Mechanical engineering from the French engineering school Polytech'Lille. He spent his last year of studies in Germany (Erasmus semester at RWTH Aachen and internship at Bosch Munich)
After his studies Kévin came back to his home region and started to work at Alten, an engineering consulting company as a design engineer. Now Kévin is working as a project manager at Berry (Muttenz) in the plastic industry

Kévin passed the PMP exam in March and naturally joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter

Kévinis 31 years old; currently live in Saint Louis (France) with his fiancé and they are getting married in July

Richard Rubli - June 2023

Richard Rubli

Richard is a 38 year old Swiss national, born and raised in the Caribbean island of Trinidad & Tobago. He has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Edinburgh Business School, a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of New Brunswick and a Diploma in Electrical Electronic Engineering Technician (EEET) from City & Guilds. He is currently pursuing his Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification and will be sitting the exam in July 2023. His native language is English but has a basic proficiency in both German and Spanish.

With 15 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Projects and Technical Service of medical devices, Richard is a dynamic professional able to achieve his strategic objectives by incorporating multiple disciplines and skillsets. He is currently employed in the medical division of a publicly traded conglomerate. For 3 years, he was the Service manager responsible for projects in the local healthcare industry including MRI, CT and Cath Lab installations. He is currently the Sales & Marketing manager responsible for the business activities of a Swiss Power Protection brand.

Richard is focused on a long-term career in Project Management and wants to be employed in key sectors including Energy, Manufacturing and Information & Communication Technology. He is a member of the PMI chapters for both the Southern Caribbean and Switzerland. He aims to gain practical knowledge and a network of PMP members from both chapters. His career goals are geared towards practicing Project Management on a global scale. On a personal note, he is a caring family man with a passion for Hard Rock music, Billiards and Fantasy novels.

Anna Blanch Orteu - June 2023

Anna Blanch Orteu

Anna is 31 years old and she is originally from Spain. Anna holds a Bachelor's and a M. Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona. Subsequently, she pursued a Master's in Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation, she relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she dedicated five years of her career working at Webber LLC. An American construction contractor, known for its expertise in heavy civil projects. During her time at Webber LLC, Anna gained experience in construction management, specifically overseeing infrastructure projects, including bridges and highways.

Anna has recently relocated to Lausanne, Switzerland, where she works in the project management of tunnel projects at WSP - BG Consulting Engineers. Alongside her professional endeavors, she is also pursuing an MBA program at Hult International Business School, to deepen her knowledge in various business domains, acquire new skills, and develop a global perspective on business challenges and opportunities.

Anna is an ambitious and observant individual, always eager to learn new things. She focuses on process implementation, fostering team collaboration, and promoting transparent communication to achieve optimal results. Anna loves learning new languages and challenging herself. She speaks Catalan, Spanish, English, and French. She hopes to add Italian and German to her list of spoken languages in the coming years.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys skiing, hiking, travelling, trying new restaurants and she is interested in psychology and people's behaviors.

Anna joined the Swiss chapter of the Project Management Institute to listen to and share experiences that can help her grow as a professional and implement effective strategies at work.

Khatia Mishelashvili - June 2023

Khatia Mishelashvili

Khatia is 29 years old. She did her studies in Journalism, but her career didn't follow her profession.

Khatia has worked in PR management in her first years of study at Tbilisi State University.

Important period of Khatia’s career is connected to an international company, which hired her to lead the projects in the field like Tourism, Movie Production, Investment and Education. Khatia earned all her important skills there, and the company's trust made her believe in herself and to see that nothing is impossible.

Beside her jobs, Khatia used to be a guide for years, which led her to create her own tour agency. It was successfully operating in Georgia, until Khatia moved to Switzerland in 2020.

Khatia really enjoys working on projects, where she was responsible for its success from the beginning to the end.

Seeing the challenging environment in Switzerland, Khatia decided to prove her abilities in project management by obtaining PMP certification.

As Khatia lives in Switzerland, she wants to become a part of the PMI Switzerland chapter, which will help her to stay updated, meet people, gain new connections, follow the Swiss quality demand and share and learn more.

Elisabetta Lazzaroni - May 2023

Elisabetta Lazzaroni

Elisabetta is a Senior strategic Insight leader, with a Master in Statistics and Management combined with solid business understanding and acumen. She has 10+ years of in-depth and proven experience in leading global strategic planning and analytic projects within multicultural matrix structures, supporting marketing, communication and sales teams at prime multinationals and sectors (Pharmaceuticals and Automotive).

Elisabetta is living in Switzerland in 2019 and that's because she is a part of the PMI Switzerland Chapter. Elisabetta loves hiking and skiing, other than going to the lake in summer! She literally loves the Country

Juan Janse - May 2023

Juan Janse

Juan works for a company called Innflow AG in Switzerland which predominantly focus on SAP S4 Implementation projects (Green Field, Brown Field and SAP Public Cloud). Juan’s current role is Team Lead & Lead for Project management and in addition he is also responsible for the Methodology board where they work on continuous refinement and optimization of the project methodology. Within the scope of these 3 project types, Juan also manages Projects and coaches his project management team.

Juan is originally specialized in systems integration and process engineering spanning the value chain of customer businesses. Now, he also specializes in Project Management.

Juan joined the Switzerland chapter to meet with the local community of project managers to extend his network and exchange ideas.

Juan is currently interested also in the impact of AI on PM and trying to see how his team can benefit from the current advances.

Luis Baettig - May 2023

Luis Bättig

Luis is a Swiss – Chilean professional, with a MBA, graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and certified in Project Management (PMP®, PMI-RMP®).

He has more than 30 years of experience working in telecommunications, transportation, industrial, services, universities, and consulting companies.

He’s living in Chile.

His career has been oriented towards leading multidisciplinary teams in the positions of project team leader, project manager, risk manager, planning and control manager, and new product and business development manager. He has taught at universities and consultancy.

Luis is passionate for projects where work frameworks, technology and people contribute to obtaining and delivering sustainable value to society.

He joined the PMI Switzerland Chapter to increase his network with other professionals, collaborating and learning about project management with others.

Yolanda Martín Mosquera - April 2023

Yolanda Martin Mosquera

Yolanda is a chemist by education and has more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry especially in quality assurance and control. In 2018 she started with project management discovering a new passion. She loves to step out of her comfort zone. This is evident as she has held many different positions in different companies.

She lives with her family in the Basel area and loves any outdoor activities.

Felipe Hilario - April 2023

Felipe Hilario

Felipe has +15 years of experience working in Australia, Switzerland and Brazil having technical and management roles developing mineral projects, connecting R&D / project generation towards final products/process, supporting strategic decisions, adding value for company`s project portfolio.

He is originally from Brazil and studied Chemical Engineering having BSc. and MSc degrees. Started and developed his career at Vale S/A at Department of Exploration and Mineral Projects. Project generation and management, with focus on hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processing, across Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Indonesia and Nordic Countries for nickel, cobalt, copper, rare earths, and Platinum Group Metals.

His principal project results and achievements were obtained working together a multi-cultural / international team in a cross-matrix structure using as basis: open dialogs, transparency, gender and cultural equity, smart goals, mentoring, continuous learning, ownership of challenges and results guiding people to high performance and their career development.
In 2020, he was invited by Swatch Group to join Belenos Clean Power division in Switzerland where he is contributing to manage the R&D project portfolio and supporting the technical director on the strategy execution. Currently he lives in Basel Stadt with his wife.

Felipe's field of expertise is hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processing of metals, connecting R&D towards operational Business units, project generation towards final products/process leading the identification of relevant technology gaps, decarbonization, responsible sourcing, productivity, safety, new processing routes development and circular economy. Focus on improvement of internal processes (safety, standards, and quality), production, OPEx reduction, water recycle and sustainable practices.

Felipe is passionate for understand and learn about diverse cultures which he loves to try local gastronomy, arts, history, and local costumes/dialects/way of living. He also loves sports, especially soccer (of course) and F1. New winter sports are getting his attention, like ski, ice hockey, and believe me, curling.

Felipe joined the PMI Switzerland chapter to increase his network, to learn people's different point of view and to share some good memories / moments / situations / experiences lived in the projects that he was part of.
