We are becoming increasingly accustomed to “visual communication” and for the next generation, Generation Z, it’s a matter of course to use icons, emojis, infographics, videos more than text to exchange and express ideas.
Even the quality of images is changing. PowerPoint presentations using standard stock footage or reports illustrated with standard symbols are attracting less attention. In contrast, a new style of images and visuals is more successful, called “Visual Storytelling”.
