A shift to the new ways of working requires both learning and unlearning. Sometimes what we already know, think or do is what gets in the way. This presentation is about letting go without losing control to embark on adventure and to unlock new potential.
While working in corporate world and with NGOs, Kasha understood that unlearning old habits is not easy, requires courage, taking calculated risks, often failing, unlearning, and learning. Unlearning does not mean losing control. What matters is keeping an eye on the direction rather than controlling the destination.
Kasha will share her leadership experiences of unlearning:
- Manage purpose rather than process
- Follow the vision and not the plan
- Maximize learning rather than minimize risks
- Focus on relationships rather than tasks.
Her lessons are clear: unlocking new potentials requires change and unlearning. Patience pays off and can leads to exponential successes.

Kasha Andrzejewska is a leader with passion to engage people so that they are shaping rather than are being shaped during organizational transformations. Her experience in large-scale programs across broad geographies, business functions, and technologies comes from 12 years of consulting with Accenture and 12 years of strategic and operational initiatives at Roche. While working across the world she has developed an expertise in Organizational Change Management, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Customer Experience through Design Thinking, and Program Management. During the last year, she gave back her skills and capabilities to the humanitarian work with Mayan communities of Guatemala, and in a refugee camp in Greece. This was also a transformation journey for herself about her attitudes and behaviors, giving up control and reinforcing empathy. |
