12. What was missing (if anything)?
More opportunity to chat with more people ... the breaks between presentations were somewhat short, and once the meal began, there was little chance to switch tables to talk to more people.
It was not a workshop, it was a 1-day-lesson.
Instructions on how to get to the hotel. There were two web pages on the PMI website concerning each day of the event. However, only one page had the address. No driving instructions were available.
List of all colleagues (Adr, Mail, Phone)
A practical situation,if used as an example would have really helped the event. It would be advisible for forthcoming events where speakers might bring forth a practical situation and the events leading to it.
I would prefer to have a confirmation of the registration via mail to be sure that everthing worked well on the web (registration and payment).
There was little missing, the event was very well organised indeed. My company is expecting me to report on my participation and I would have liked to have at least a few slides in electronic format to shoul to my colleagues
Hillson is a good speaker - he keeps you awake! But I had hoped for a lot more new material - we heard little more than PMBoK theories. More real-world examples? Practical hints and tips, dos and don\'ts?
Too much overlap between Friday & Saturday: Hillson was not sufficiently briefed on that, but might not have changed his slide presentation much anyhow (somewhat inflexible). The time for exercises was too short on Saturday.
Some BoD members on Friday ...
more time - topic was very interesting.
Was perfect, especially the team at the gate
Networking time a bit limited the Friday
I did not receive the handouts for the presentation by Dr. Hillson. If possible: How can I get it?
Not enough materials were originally printed for the participants, and these materials had to be reprinted. One (or possibly more) copies of the presentations in the packs were in the wrong sequence. Both of these were NOT big problems!
More time (e.g. 1-2 hours) doing practical facilitated exercises might have helped. But I expect that\'s hard with so many participants.
Expected more \"news\"

13. What should the RiskSIG Switzerland do to become more interesting or attractive for you?
Continue to focus on the importance of Risk Management, making sure that companies are aware of this important topic.
More actual problems. Personally I am interested in Technical Risk Management, but in fact this is not very much different from Risk Management in PM.
More presentations on practical application of risk management in projects.
Perhaps we can discuss a way on how we could work together
E-mailers on RiskSIG,would also help if Failed Projects and analyis of failed projects in Switzerland/EU due to risks not considered will make it interesting.
More examples
Propose various level of Risk Management Workshops. Basic to Advanced for special topics and techniques in Risk Management
Hold P&P meetings with talks about how risk management is implemented in practice
Be more practical on how simply Risk management can be part of project management. May be with practical exapmple of CH related risks and their management.
Smaller evening events with practical risk case discussions would be interesting, provided they are well situated (e.g. Bern is perfect)
Local events in Zurich/Basel and Lausanne resp. are being planned.
Continue to point out that risk is opportunities and threats
no
Since I am new to it all, I don\'t feel I have the experience yet to offer anything of value. I hope to be able to offer more in the future. I am interested in Risk Mgt so this is my key motivation to participate in the RiskSIG. ization and I
Just be there as often as possible, talk about success stories, give envy to imitate
Opportunities for smaller/cheaper and regional events
I like the idea of managing opportunities the same way as threads. I would be very interested in some practical examples about projects where it worked well and how to leverage it.
Start to have events, meetings, do a survey of PMI-CH members and ask them what they want, etc.
My environment is very primitive regarding risk. We should first do the basic PMP stuff before we can advance to the (probably more subtle) issues that the RiskSIG might be discussing.
Nothing; for me risk management is \"only\" one out of many areas & I don\'t realy focus on RM

14. Do you have any other comments or remarks about this event?
I was part of the event task force.
What other activities and regular meetings does the RiskSIG CH have?
It fullfilled more or less what I expected from this Event except Pt 12
Very good event. The workshop was not really a workshop, it was a lecture with more detailed knowledge. This suited me fine, but why call a lecture a workshop? I expect information exchange from other participants in an workshop, but in this event the comments were few and discussion was not particularly encouraged. The lecturer failed many times to answer the questions. His answers were on the enterprise strategy level , although the question may have been very specifically on project issues. Also answering that \"otherwise projects will fail\" is not good enough. Due to having answers on the enterprise strategy level, it seemed that he actually has not applied his teachings to projects. If this was all just theory then the fact should\'ve been stressed more. A brilliant event despite the above comments.

The organization of the lunch was not four star like. I.e. no tables
Service Quality of Hotel Ambassador was really bad regarding the fact that its a four star Hotel. I imagine that it had cost much too much.
Excellent networking opportunitiy
Nice event.
I\'m very happy to hear that more events likethat will follow. Well done!
Good balance between Best practises and innovations. Interesting approach to see risks also as an opportunity within projects (new mindset).
Two complementary Meetings/Workshops (Friday and Saturday)should not content same topics. The morning Session of Saturday was almost a repetition of Friday meeting. The real workshop on project opportunities was quite short (3 hours) and not as practical as advertised. Cost/Benefit ratio for people joining both meetings was therefore not adequate. Should be improved next time.
There was some duplication in presentations between the 3 days.
This was a great event, well organized and over fulfilling my expectations
Was great and well managed. More events like these :)
Thursday\'s conference of Mr Hillson was great, and generated many expectations. However slight disappointment on Friday where most material was not so much new for a newly PMP.
Social event was a very good mix of Hillson, sponsors, PMI business, networking, food and drink - very enjoyable.
The number of participants was just right for Hillson; probably we could not expect more for this type of event. The martketing through associations need be reconsidered, the same holds true for sponsoring.
Should have come earlier ... ;-)
2nd day should follow up 1st day, i.e. would save ca 1h repetition from previous day.
I felt the event was a success, a few very minor hick-ups that I was aware of but they did not take the light away from the event for me. I really appeciate everyone\'s time and effort that was involved in the planning and execution, to include post activities - especially since everyone is a volunteer. I think everyone did an excellent job. This was my first ever PMI event so I did not know what to expect. It was a positive experience for me and I look forward to other events. My only negative feedback was regarding the hotel room and meals. I honestly did not feel like I was in a 4 Star Hotel.
Good on the PMI Switzerland chapter organiser, congratulations to the volunteers
The presentations on Thursday by Hohberg and Gallifa were quite vague. PMI should check the quality of the presentations beforehand
Friday and Saturday did overlap. A better split of topics could have prevented this.
A bit of overlap between Friday and Saturday, however well managed by David Hillson.
No
There was quite a bit of overlap between all three events, i.e. the same material covered in each day because as Dr. Hillson said, these events were made as \"stand alone\" events which could be run separately; however, since we ran them one after the other we had considerable overlap. Why couldn\'t we just have had an event on one day? I think two and one-half days is too long for local events. I was surprised that less than 10% of the members came to the social event, and only slightly more than 10% came to the Friday event. What do our members want? We should survey them to find out.
The level was a little low and the speed a little slow for me (I am recent PMP with little practical risk experience). For example, the whole morning was nothing new. Unfortunately I could not attend Saturday (my fault).
Thank you very much for your engagement. It was a very good event to meet collegues and to align ideas with \"current best practice\". Mit besten W?nschen f?r eine bessinliche Adventszeit! Edmund Bumann
This was a high quality event. I will come back
