A good turnout of PMI members as well as guests enjoyed refreshments and chatted with old and new acquaintances before the arrival of the PMI Chapter President, Dr. Andrea Behrends and the guest speaker, Coral Trisko, PMP. The evening started out with board members bringing everyone up to date with Chapter news, especially that of the change of the executive board positions and elections which are coming up soon.
Ms. Trisko started out her talk on "How to rescue Ailing and Troubled Projects" with a quick introduction of herself and the different projects she has tackled. Her enthusiastic nature along with her extensive experience she has gathered throughout her career made for a riveted and informative evening. Ms. Trisko covered 3 main topics of why projects fail, what to do first and key steps to success. Some good questions were asked by the audience which added an excellent dynamic to the presentation.
The evening rounded out with a wonderful three course dinner at the hotels main dining hall and with a raffle with some prizes picked out by lucky winners. The prizes included an inflatable rowboat, a laser pointer pen and assorted bottles of wine.
